The Virginia Black Chamber of Commerce (VABCC) is holding it down for Black business owners across the state. Dedicated to building a sustainable, diverse business ecosystem, the Chamber connects entrepreneurs, creates opportunities, and ensures the community has the resources and support needed to build generational wealth. Headquartered in Fredericksburg, the VABCC operates under the motto “Rooted in Community. Rising in Opportunity.”

Since its founding, the VABCC has made a measurable impact โ€” serving over 2,644 businesses, engaging more than 14,000 individuals, and delivering upwards of 200 events and webinars. The organization holds a 97% positive Google rating, a testament to the trust it has earned across the Commonwealth.

The Chamber offers a wide range of programs and resources, including business development workshops, a Business Accelerator Program, and a Virginia Black Business Directory to help consumers connect with Black-owned businesses statewide. Signature annual events like the Virginia Black Expo, a Government Contracting (GovCon) Conference, a Women’s Conference (VIVID), and a Black Business Awards Gala keep the community engaged and inspired throughout the year.

Beyond programming, the VABCC advocates for Black entrepreneurs at the legislative level and provides access to capital resources including Kiva loans and grant opportunities. With partners like Dominion Energy and JPMorgan Chase, the Chamber is on a mission to elevate Black entrepreneurship and create lasting economic power in Virginia.
